Join Brightkite, Soundtrckr, and Skyhook Wireless for an evening exploring the latest trends in GeoSocial apps!

Geo-location and social networking are converging rapidly. This year’s South by Southwest Interactive festival in Austin saw big players, such as Nokia and Google, building out location databases; Twitter and Facebook enabling their respective services to include location-tagged post/tweets; and, browsers, such as Google Chrome supporting W3C’s geo-location.

Come learn more about the ecosystem of the GeoSocial application marketplace from the following panelists:

Daniele Calabrese, Founder & CEO, Soundtrcker (soundtrckr.com)
TBD, Brightkite
Kate Imbach, VP Marketing Skyhook Wireless (skyhookwireless.com) and Co-Founder of MobileMonday Boston (momoboston.com)

The panel will be moderated by Viq Hussain, Sr. Consultant, SE Solutions Inc.

Daniele Calabrese is the former Communications Officer with the Development Communications Division, World Bank, Washington DC with a focus on wireless technology, infrastructure, telecom, energy, public sector reform and climate change. During his tenure, he initiated the idea of the First World Congress on Communication for Development. He holds an MA in International Affairs from George Washington University, and a Political Science degree from Istituto Universitario Orientale in Naples, Italy.

Kate Imbach leads marketing at Skyhook Wireless.
